The Goatse-man
The identity of the Goatse-man, was suggested shortly after goatse.cx went live. At that time, there were no social networking and media sharing applications such as Facebook, Flickr and YouTube. Instead, internet users who shared a common interest would form and subscribe to a newsgroup (an early type of forum that resembled a cross between a shared email inbox and RSS feed) where they could post stories and exchange files.
These groups still exist today, with companies such as usenet.com providing access subscriptions. It is most likely that the _stinger.jpg image that was renamed hello.jpg on goatse.cx originated from one of these newgroups.
One such group is alt.binaries.pictures.erotica.male.anal. A regular contributor to this group, Kirk Johnson (we don't know for sure that this is his real name), has been uploading images of himself practicing anal stretching since the mid nineties.
A quick comparison of hello.jpg (the filename of the image displayed on goatse.cx) with one of Kirk's latest snapshots reveals that both men pictured have a large mole like growth above the top left of their anus. Whilst possible, it is highly unlikely that there are two people with such a rare talent that share the same abnormality.
Kirk describes himself and his interests as:
Shaved smooth and slim exhibitionist Large shaved cock, balls, and ass Huge anus... into fisting, footing, huge insertions and anus stretching, pissing and watersports. Into everything but scat with men and women and both!
With the advent of Web 2.0 and the increasing social tolerance of sexual extremists, Kirk is having the time of his life. He now uploads pictures and videos of himself almost daily. As of January 2009, he has uploaded over 200 videos and 4,500 photographs to sites such as ImageFap and XTube (discression advised). According to his XTube profile, his videos have been viewed over 15 million times!
A few of his more popular titles include:
- Anal Fist F__king and Stretching
- Self F__k and Anal Play (where he inserts his own penis into his anus!)
- Outdoor Anal F__k with a Huge Horse C__k
- Giant Vegetable Anal F__k & Fist F__king
Yes, these are real titles that are freely available without subscription! It doesn't take much imagination to realize that these videos are much more extreme than the original Goatse image. If you ever needed an excuse to install spyware on your kid's PC, then this is it!
If you are among those who disapprove of Kirk's hobby and his desire to publicly share his work, we suggest that you don't tell him to "go f__k himself" - he probably quite literally will!
Whatever you opinions, it is clear that Kirk possesses a talent for inserting large and peculiar objects deep into his anus and, if you read his profile pages, it appears that he has a large base of fans that truly appreciate his work.
We think it is unlikely that Kirk gave his consent for goatse.cx to publish his picture, nor that he played any part in the creation of the site. He has never admitted being the subject of the picture and those who have tried to discuss goatse.cx with him in the various networking and media sites which he frequents have not received a response.
However, the evidence as shown above is quite compelling and it is very difficult to dispute that this man who goes by the name of Kirk Johnson, is indeed the Goatse man.
